Just applied for my carry permit and am now looking for a holster. I have a Kel-Tec PF9. I'm on a bit of a budget and can't spend more than $30 on a holster at the moment, and I found this IWB holster from SAS Customs for $25; anyone have experience with SAS? Are IWB holsters even worth it? Any advice appreciated

It's cheap and all I could afford. Plus I think it looks cool :(((((

Make a Jamaican holster, bent clothes hanger with tape on ends. Or get a Blackhawk pocket holster. I think a #3 would fit.

IWB holsters are definitely worth it, don't listen to these chucklefucks.
I've never owned anything made by SAS but it's kind of hard to fuck up a kydex holster. It should be fine, just make sure you have a good stiff belt.

Make it $40. I'm not even kidding, find the $10 somehow or wait, the jump in quality between $30 to $40 is huge, $40 is where a man should draw the line for bare minimum holster price.

YES. They will keep you from shooting yourself by keeping things out of the trigger guard, keep you from printing, keep you from having your gun fall out if you slip/trip/run/fall. They will make carrying more comfortable.

Thanks for the help, bud. I was leaning towards IWB because I'm a bit nervous about printing but now I'm definitely going for IWB for the reasons you mentioned.
Got any examples of $40 IWB holsters? Gonna do some research of course but if you have any specific recommendations I'd love to hear 'em!

If you're anything more than skinny, I recommend alien gear. It's a bit more than $40, and shipping will be another chunk, but definitely worth. They exchange shells too in case you ever change guns. I like that it's tuckable - something that the one in the image won't be able to do.
Alien gear has a pretty autistic logo though. And their IWB is, for the most part, meant to be work at the 4-5 position. Right above the back pocket.

Depends on if you want leather or kydex. My first holster was from Winthrop Holsters, a leather one. It was good, did the job it was supposed to at $40 exactly and was comfortable. I've since ordered from Custom Carry Concepts and from JM Custom Kydex; CCC's is one I really love but was $70-80, JMCK's is still being waited on.
