As a general rule of thumb try and stay away from US made AK's, especially the RAS and C39, they start to get headspace issues in a few thousand rounds. People on here will tell you to get a WASR more than likely, or else get an M70A, it is Yugoslavian, looks kinda funny. Either that or save your money and get a decent AK.

Arsenals are very good, I got an SLR 107FR but those are out of stock at the moment and new parts aren't being imported atm. You'll be getting a SAM7 which is a milled receiver gun vs a stamped one from the SLR line if you want 7.62x39. Other than that, the 106 guns (5.56x45mm) have had known issues but they're 5.56 AK's anyway so that's not my thing. New productions have had their problems fixed apparently.

It's not an awful choice by any means. I've shot one and it felt pretty nice. PSA is also there, I've had good luck with the "Premium" AR upper and MOE lower I got from them.
