Anyone can bury their rifle in mud, but shooting 200 dollars of ammo through a class three is totally different. The results are useful, for example the failure point of the WASR vs the VEPR. The VEPR took 900 rounds to fail when its barrel started MELTING and drooped, throwing off the gas piston. All he needed to do was hit it on a table and the rifle was good to go.
