Most AR15 lowers are manufactured by four (I think four) companies. They all come from the same place so all your paying for is a rollmark when it comes to stripped lowers. So if you don't have the extra money for a coolguy rollmark or would rather spend the money on something more important like a barrel or BCG there really isn't a point.

Don't get me wrong we all get a hardon for certain brands (If anyone has a lead on Armalite lowers let me know) but for the aspiring AR15 builder or the father of two who can't quite afford to drop the cash. I submit to you there is absolutely no point the splurge for the "high quality option"

Bore axis is an issue brought up by people that get the majority of their knowledge about guns from memes and YouTube.

You guys must keep in mind the condition of the Army's M9s. They are beat the fuck up. Springs are worn, everything inside is rusty or worn and burnished, and all are very easy to accidentally kick the safety into the SAFE position. Officers and senior leaders pull them out for parade amd field training but they NEVER oil or maintain them in any way.
