I need new boots, I'm sick to death of my issued temperates and I want something I can go hiking or ruck in that isn't going to make me feel like shit.
I was looking at a Belleville hot weather boot with a side zip, some of the guys wear their boots with a zipper since it's more convenient, but is that a bad idea? Is Belleville a good brand or should I look elsewhere? What's the difference between a combat boot and an assault boot, or is that just tacticool name shit?

I've had good luck with my Garmonts, but I haven't had them for too long. I can vouche for Blackhawk! boots though. Wore them motherfuckers for like 3 years and they're still good.
How do you like Corcorans, /k/? I've been thinking of picking up a pair of Marauders for hiking/general walkabout boots or a pair of their jump boots for about the same purposes.

Just bought these
Lived the last pair so much but the hit the "unserviceable" mark
They made it through the better part of EOD school >highly recommend

avoid side zip if possible. when the zipper blows in the middle of a ruck march it blows duck taping your whole ankle/lowerleg together

>side zip
If your only goal is to get full kit for bathroom mirror selfies you might as well skip it and save your money for the new call of duty since you can't see your feet anyway

What are they dude. Not OP but I'm shopping for new boots. My SV2s are about to cave in.

Belleville Khyber Lightweight Sage Green Mountain Hybrid Boot TR660
How are the sv2 my buddy who made it through eod got issued them and I don't think they look as comfortable
>>31315159
Not that guy, but i have yet to find a pair of boots i like more then SV2s. They feel like runners most of the time, stick to everything like shit to a blanket and they last as long as any other boot i've had.

Wearing corcoran hot weather leather/cordura 10-inchers, after two eight hour days in the factory they've broken in nicely with some dickies steel toe work boot socks, all the blisters I'd gotten with my full leather steel toe are healing rapidly
what some good US made combat boots?
built to last, get better as they age type

I have those exact boots, so do a lot of people in my shop. The zipper breaks eventually, and they run a whole size larger than other brands, but if you get ones that fit and just don't ever use the zipper they're maximum comfy.

idf here,
belleville 300 are pretty amazing and are so comfortable they are a status symbol among the non fighters who aren't issued these boots if you are a us soldier im pretty sure there is a desert version of those.. i use the red version but im pretty sure the red ones are idf exclusive but i could be worng

When I was on my birthright trip I got so many boners over those red boots. IDF chicks are cute, but the ones in the red boots were extra cute.
Anyone have recommendations for a true 4E wide boot? Needs to be waterproof and a high ankle for snow.

Bates boots are comfy, senpai

these are surprisingly comfy as well..

hate to be a bonerkiller but most girls with red boots got them from their boyfriend after he finished his service or because they gave a logistics officer or warehouse worker puppy eyes. well, unless they had a bright green beret. in that case they were actually issued those boots and they are the ones protecting the Egyptian front

What is the Lowest price for a basic pair of red wings?
>>31312207
Heard they had really hard soles and fuck your knees even harder than traditional combat boots.
>>31312207
This. Mine have lasted for about three years now, I might send them in to get resoled. Other than that, they're comfy as hell
