Honestly? I'd take just a regular P226 9mm. I owned one a couple years back and really loved it. Still regret selling it (needed money for school).

So, I'd recommend the MK25 as its cheaper than the Legion. I never really saw what benift the legion offered for the price they wanted.

mk 25. SRT kits are a must but are like 40 bucks and not hard to install. and g10 is nice but i could pick the g10's i actually want for the difference in price.

PVD coating on the legion is a-shit. Legion facebook groups are constantly debating sending theirs back as they get it NIB with blemishes. My 226 arrived that way, but I'm still going to use it. I reallllllly want a Rex to beat around now. next $600 I get....

I had a older W. German P226 w/o the SRT, and it did fantastic. So, IMO it's not really necessary, but more of a personal preference instead.

I made this choice myself and went with the 226 Navy. My friend went with the Legion. Both shoot a lot. Its a personal choice. They are both great. You can't go wrong with ether.

I wanted the threaded barrel. But you can do that with ether. However I ordered mine with it.

The small changes they made add up
What really sold me though what the grip, the trigger and the reset on the trigger.

Even the standard P226R is great and I like the E2 grip better then the Navy or Legion. I liked it so much I bought one.

Oh and I forgot. The SRT Trigger is a MUST. Put it in my 226R E2, 226 Navy and 229R E2. They are 45$ and 10 minutes to install.

I think people are taking the test mac did way too seriously.

Not to sound like a sigfag (I don't even own any), but if you go rewatch that test, the legion had a VERY weak ejection pattern before the torture test even began.

It is entirely possible that there was something going on with the gun (maybe it's a lemon).
