Was pretty much my thought. Drums are fucking trash now and forever.
I can still use my regular AR mags with it and maybe trade the drum for around $50 or so, $75 trade-in if I'm lucky.

Nothing about this resembles an AR. It looks like an modernized AK design to me if it got rid of a lot of useless space and used different materials.

Drums are prone to misfeeds and jams. When it comes to putting a bullet in a gun, the most simplistic the mechanism the better.

You can hold a lot with drums sure, but that does dick all if you're having feeding problems every few rounds. They're also awkward to transport.

Sure thing. You can rarely go wrong with magpul if I'm being honest.
If their drum wasn't such a pain to load I'd probably have more than 1.

Also keep in mind that drums tend to be expensive and for the same price you can often buy 2-3 regular mags from a decent manufact for the same price. If my magpul drum hadn't been on sale for $75 I wouldn't have gotten it.
