Depending on where I am going, I will switch out my Glock 17 for my LCP.

Not pictured is my iPhone 5s and a leather belt I made myself that has been great for 2 years but has given up the ghost being used to support my Glock 17. Too broken down. It's fine for my LCP, but I gave in and picked up a 5.11 Autism duty belt today as a stand in till I get something rigid but less autistic than a nylon duty belt.

Sometimes I carry a spare Glock magazine in a belt carrier. I typically keep an extendo in my backpack as well.

I regularly carry two knives. One is a fixed blade that's dedicated to defensive use. The other is a Swiss Army knife. The SAK is for utility, and the fixed blade is for stabbing people. The SAK is also attached to my keys, and thus it's not particularly hard to carry.

I occasionally carry two guns. The rationale is to have a gun that can be accessed with my left hand. Depending on the situation it may also be the gun I draw first (pocket draw can be done a lot more surreptitiously than can an IWB draw). I don't carry it intending it to be a reload or a backup in the event of some unlikely catastrophic malfunction, though some people blabber on about that.

I just keep it basic for the EDC staples. Sometimes I carry a Glock 19 instead of the P239 or sometimes I might carry a 442 if I want to pocket carry in a coat. Sometimes I carry more stuff, sometimes less. The EDC staples stay basic though.

Don't use something that narrow for a TQ. If you are trying to compress anything bigger than a finger it will not work until you have just about amputated the limb. And use something decent as a windless. Most pens will break under the force, and the longer something is, the easier it is to secure.

I always wonder the same thing and doubt a lot of the claims since it looks like a total pain. I haven't seen anything in this thread to make me call outright bullshit yet though.
I love being very prepared for tons of situations and have a fair amount of stuff I take with me every day up to a small spade. But frankly, all but my keys, phone, flash drive, and wallet can stay in the car.
I don't feel like carrying a gun is necessary where I live, but I could just keep one at work since I own the place.

Granted, it looks dorky/tryhard, but it probably is the cheapest/best value option for a real gun belt.

I love it. It's been impressively reliable for me. I haven't had a single stoppage since I got it despite me putting some of the cheapest shit I can find through it. The fact that it ships with three mags is pretty cool, but the MSRP on new mags is pretty high. I've had to learn to look for FNP holsters since a lot of manufacturers still don't call them FNX holsters, but the FNP ones work just fine. It's a bit bulky, but I have tiny hands.
