What is the heaviest and biggest gun you cc'd? Bonus if you explain where you live and what you were wearing at the time.
S&W model 629, in Alaska wearing a coat.

Nothing crazy. My SA 1911, LW Operator
I live in a farm town and I walk my dog out in the tobacco fields. I keep it for coyotes and bears that live out here.
jeans, hoodie
FNX. I'm in PA. It was a little too large for me and it had quite a few malfunctions so I no longer own it.
My old man's Deagle Brand Deagle in .357 in a shoulder-holster.
It was in Galveston, Texas, I had on one of my favorite Hawaiian shirts, and I only did it because we made a bet when I said I could cc anything in those shirts.

Beretta 92 Compact.
I CC it sometimes in the summer with the right clothing. Any other season I CC regularly with jackets and coats.
CZ P-01. While technically a compact it's just a bit too big for me. Wintertime it's fine, but still a little annoying in that my holster doesn't cover the mag release so a lot of the time when I sit or do anything that causes it to press heavily against my body it pops the mag out ~1/16 of an inch

I can cc my p226 Mud Carrier pretty well, the coarse grips fuck my shit up though if I wiggle my back too fast

My spine runs down the middle of my back, is yours crooked and above your kidney?

I wasn't very concerned about printing or anything desu. I just wore regular fitting shirts untucked.
The grip is so fucking long that it would hit everything, including little kids heads while walking around the grocery store.
92FS/M9 in small of the back. I'm skinny and suits (or at minimum, a dress shirt and waistcoat) most of the time so printing isn't a huge issue with the right holster. Biggest concern is actually comfort when driving my little Mazda. I live in Detroit, so having a reliable and familiar weapon is...preferred.
I'll get shit for this, but my current carry gun is an old P38 in a shoulder holster. It's stupid, but it works for me. And wedge locks are my thing.
Also, not me, but a crazy old friend of mine actually built a weird concealable sheath-thing for his cut-down 1887 replica. As long as he had a jacket of some sort on and didn't sit down, it worked pretty well. He certainly won every proverbial dick-measuring contest with that rig.

It will force you to twist your back while it's under strain

Longest was a 8 3/8" S&W Model 29 in a Bianchi X15 shoulder rig.
Heaviest was a Desert Eagle in a custom pancake holster. I've carried the Deagle with both the .44 and .50 barrel on it.
Cover garment in both cases was a hip length jacket during the winter in North Alabama.
I also picked up a nice shoulder rig for the Desert Eagle that I haven't worn out yet.

>>31165017
It's not like I carry either one all the time. Just occasionally when the mood strikes.
When the weather gets cold I will be trying this out, though.
I CC a XDM 4.5 barrel. I always wore an untucked work shirt over a t-shirt before I started carrying, and that covers up the gun pretty nicely.
>>31164988
i know this is off topic, but did you make that Desert Eagle holster? or buy it, cause ive been looking for a good holster for it, the drop leg i got with it is disappointing.

>>31160952
I cc full size 1911s on the reg, both IWB and OWB. I would consider a full size double stack too big though, and double stacks in general just stick out too much for my liking. 1911s are just perfect in so many ways.
>>31166409
Nope. Wore it to Walmart and everything. I prefer my TT-33, though. But I'd like to upgrade to a Cz.75/85 soon. Just as compact, reliable, fun, and tons of people trust them. But I'm tall, I can CC even full-sized, no problem.

I CC my full size 1911 daily. Usually wear jeans and a t shirt or button up. Once did it in frat shorts and a bro tank. Clothes still cover the important part.

Bought it from a guy who had ordered from a leathermaker on Washington State. At work, so I don't have pics, but I've ended up getting the following holsters.
The custom pancake holster.
A Magnum Research pancake holster.
A Hunter snap on belt holster.
A MASC shoulder rig pictured here>>31165119 and a leather paddle holster from MASC.
The custom pancake is the best so far. The MRI pancake is almost as good. If I didn't have the custom pancake, it would serve. Pic related. I haven't had the shoulder rig on for an extended period, but it feels fairly comfy. The paddle holster is leather with a polymer paddle. I haven't had it out for an extended period.

Beretta 92fs in a thin shirt and shorts about a week ago. It's cc'd okay-ish. Was hot as balls (96 F or so) here in Ohio, land of bipolar weather, so I couldn't wear anything heaver without risking heatstroke. Took the Beretta over my Shield because why not?

just out of curiosity, how big are you? im 6'3 210, how bad would it look on me? ive been joking around with my buddies about carrying it, but actually kind of want to

A full sized duty pistol of some kind, its right on the edge of being practical for me then say a .44 magnum, which I would absolutely love to carry but its just to bulky and id feel terrible if I used it and had to loose it to an evidence locker
M9A3. I carried it through June. It's fine and easy enough to conceal, as long as I have an unbuttoned shirt around it.
