Yes it's sick. Sick as in diseased and unhealthy. If Chile actually used them they would have been beat to shit by now.

Why would they not? Chile cant afford optics or lasers, so the main selling points of modern rifles (rails and modularity) are meaningless to a Chilean soldier.

Chile still has the most professional Army in South America.

The way they fund their military is through the country's mineral wealth. They sell a lot of copper the army gets new toys. Last time this happened they bought Leo2's, Paladin SPG's and Marauders.

I also love that they still use the MG42/58.
