I'm thinking of buying a .44 mag revolver for bear and "other" protection while innawoods hiking and shit.
Any decent revolvers for less than $600?
What's a good website to bookmark and monitor for deals/etc?
And Bubba at the local gun shop is telling me a .44 mag is better than 10mm for protection against bears/etc?

10mm will down moose and black bears.
.44mag will down moose and black bears.
monitor armslist and gunbroker for deals. 600$ wont get you a lot in the way of .44 mags. Maybe a used Ruger Redhawk or similar styles.

>"other"
It's ok.
You can say "niggers" here, brother

Which one would you choose, 10mm or .44mag?
Thanks for the tip on the website.
Was considering glaawk 10mm...but Bubba told me .44mag is way to go.

Both will kill shit more deader
Its down to your preference. If you like semi autos, go with a glawk brand glawk or another 10mm handgun. Get good defense ammo for it. Remember, bears have tougher hides than dindus.
If you like revolvers, get the .44mag. You can get some crazy hot loads too.

What's good defense ammo for the glock 10mm for bears? Am guessing FMJ 165gr (do they make 180gr?)
Yeah, will most likely go with glawk because it's cheaper in price.

Didnt Underwood even improve the xtreme penetrator?
I cant remember if it was them or Lehigh, but both offer some kind of xtreme penetrator, one is enhanced though.
