I saw pic related in another thread and it got me thinking. Would it be possible to miniaturize some anti tank gun like the PaK 40 to that size with working shell ejection and all?
It could be done, but I don't know of any markets for that.

Bench rest rifle. Technically perfect rifles which people use to put very precise holes in paper from astronomical distances.
basically it's like if someone turned calculus into a sport.

Excellent analogy.

My dick says this should be a thing

My point exactly

I'd be really surprised if no-one's made a benchtop tank gun chambered in .308 or similar.
To be honest, I have the design skills to develop such a thing, but machining the parts would not be in my schedule. But if someone were willing to make the parts...

it should go in .357 maximum since it kinda looks like a pak fa ammo too.
Fuck I wish i had a proper machine shop so I could do this

Why not go .44magnum? Or even better 7,62x54r?
>>31074070
not visually similar to pak cartridges, youd need to make new breech and chamber.
44 could work but it's too short. .357 maximum looks the most comparable one to original ammo but i guess .44 would be fine too.
you know you can own a fully functional VSS?
in 1/3 scale
Well no matter what, practically speaking you'd be starting off with a barrel blank chambered in whatever. Really its more a matter of figuring out the scaled mechanisms for ejecting the spent shells and mods could be done if it's rimless.
Actually I think 30-30 would be ideal analogue for a KWK 40 or 42 or the PAK versions of the same.
