Anyone have experience with a Charter Arms Bulldog? I am thinking of getting one as a cheap CCW or car gun.

I'd get a S&W Airweight for that price

but 44 spl is different
I have the charter arms Pitbul in 9mm. It's ok for the price. I don't really like the matte finish on it, and if you fire six rounds fast the cylinder gets pretty hot and will not eject one of the rounds properly. Also the cylinder rotates backwards to my other three revolvers, which is interesting. We are not allowed the bulldog in Canada, the barrels have to over 4.5" here, or I would have picked it over the Pitbul.

I can't imagine .44spl and .357mag being that much different in terms of ballistics

Is there even a single .357 airweight? Or .357 J-frame that doesn't cost $500+
>>31055432
my bad, didn't see the $720 price tag but the .38 Airweights are +P
Did your neighbor's dog tell you to buy it?
>>31055199
Why not buy this?
Better price better quality
>>31058065
Those things are twice the price or more.

>high price=better price
wat?
and colts come with diminishing returns far to often.

Ive only heard good things, but son of sam used it in 8 shootings. He killed 6 people and wounded 7. so pick your ammo, he was using a weak target loads.

theyre the Sphinx, SCCY, Lionheart,Kel tec, EEA of revolvers
not really bad, but not perfect either. They have a spotty reputation but theyre decent tier now. Pretty good for being a glove box gun, and I like .44 special
also Manhunter

J-Frame is only .38 special +P. Got mine for $419 after all was said and done. I don't know where you got the $500 price tag.
>literally picked it up yesterday and have not stopped carrying and finger fucking it
>my new carry piece

bulldogs a cool handgun, nobody wants to shoot .357's from a snub and 38 is pretty damn weak compared to a .44spl
They're not bad on the price and you can probably find one for sale from someone that already bought one I know one guy that likes it but would sell it to get a different version of the bulldog since there are a few out there.

That weights like 7 ounces less than the bulldog which is already a really light handgun.
For the size of a revolver I don't think anyone is going to notice that extra weight in a negative way except, Doesn't the airweight stuff make it more snappy on recoil?

I have shot my dads air weight. It is very snappy with +p.

I bet you think .380 and 10mm have the same ballistics.
