Why are guns so fucking expensive?
i have a m&p15 and i got if for a little less then 800
dollars.
The government keeps making it harder to buy via import restrictions and "gun control" laws, and panic buyers mean they can double or triple the price and people will still buy.

We couldn't manage to ban guns just yet. So we made acquiring them a arduous task for most of the population
>>31052131
>M&P15
>800
Holy shit dude, you got ripped off hard. You should be paying 600 max.
>>31052131
You might as well just start buying the machinery to make the guns instead.
>>31052131
I would second this...
Hi-Point firearms usually run $200-300
Ye olde standard Ruger 10/22 is hard pressed to run beyond $300.
These are semi automatic firearms.
Yet the bargain basement AK-74 and AR-15s start at a minimum of $600
Whats the fucking difference? The amount of Metal in them cant be where the price comes in because metal is damn cheap.

Demand. Do you want a Hipoint or a USP?
If you will pay me $800, then I'll charge that.
>>31053525
given this day and age you'd think they would set that aside and start thinking about the common good
I mean its one thing to experience higher sales as a result of gun grabber paranoia...
But dont they understand how real that threat is?
Or is all they can think about kicking themselves in the future that they didnt profit as much as they could have when they had the chance...
>>31053458
ak-74
ak-74 for 600
nigga what
>>31053746
You can't actually be this naive.
>>31052485
Not in this political climate he didn't. Most of the non shit entry level ARs have dried up in my area at least.
>>31052485
>>31053746
un fucking believable.
>common good.
what are you, a liberal communist socialist pro-gun millenial?
no, you're just an idiot.
A quality firearm will outlive you.
>>31052131
Maybe the initial machines and tools need to be paid for. Also, a well made gun will last longer than you and your kids.
Just think of it this way, could you build (from scratch) a good firearm in two weeks? If no, then thank job stratification that you can even buy something above most peoples skill set.
Design, engineering and manufacturing are far more complex than most normies can even imagine. The logistics of just milling a piece of aluminium would make your head spin.
People get paid six figures to do shit for a reason and the word "privilege" makes no appearances in it.
>>31053896
This. A good gun isn't an expense. It's an asset, and maybe even an investment.
Also, when I buy a new gun, its cost doesn't concern me too much. When I add in money spent to make it ambidextrous, get good sights, maybe a weaponlight, extra mags, and ammo to shoot it and keep in reserve, the cost for the gun is usually a third of the overall cost at best.
>>31052131
People are trying to make a living.
>>31053458
If metal is so cheap for you try turning it into something useful.
Bargain basement AK's are demilitarized parts sold off by whoever could get their hands on it with a reciever cobbled together in some guys garage and pawned off to any buyer they could find. That wasn't a bargain quite a few people lost out on money on those deals.

Lol traded a trombone for one.
