Why do retards say you cant hunt with an AR? Ive seen ARs with bigger cartridge designs. Not to mention theyre lighter and honestly seem fun to hunt with.

Because when people think AR, they think .223/5.56
And back in 2001/2002, one thing I clearly remember at my hunters safety training at Chabot Gun Club/Range was the pictures they showed of deer that were hit poorly by .223 rounds, and the fudd instructors smugly remarking "this is why you don't hunt deer with those poodle shooter rounds."
A proper .223/5.56 round can easily put down Bambi in one shot. If people really gave a shit about not wanting deer to "suffer", they'd outlaw bow hunting.

I killed my first deer at 280+ yards with a 223 barnes bullet loading. Clean kill, through and through, lung/heart shot.
