What're you guys' thoughts on the Boberg XR9/Bond Arms Bullpup?
A bullpup pistol. What a time to be alive.

Looks stupid

The barrel is too small for the overall length of the gun. It makes sense trying to have a shorter barrel on a rifle, not a pistol. Also it looks undergo mimic as fuck, and would be a pain in the ass to draw from concealment. Lastly it looks pretty gay

It's a bullpup pistol.

3.75" barrel.
Pic is the "long" version.
A claw is used to extract the rounds from the magazine. The hammer is the size of a glock's backplate and sort of "claps."

Here's an old guy, Hicock45 which I'm sure many besides myself here watch.
The design caught my eye when I was trying to find unique pistols. This is the first real innovation I've seen in pistols in a long time.
Boberg got bought out by Bond Arms a while back, and Bond Arms is retooling the design to re-release it.
It's pretty cool, I wouldn't mind buying one if they get the price below 1k. Too bad I can't since I live in a communist state.

Here's one for sale. They typically end up selling for like $400. I've wanted to get one for like a month now.

Here's one right at 1k

I'd recommend just getting one secondhand for cheaper, especially considering Bond Arms is going to rerun them eventually. Having a Boberg as a toy and curio for now would be fun, but I don't know if it's $1k fun.

Yeah, they stress the importance of being aware of that. Good eye. Supposedly it's a rare thing, a known issue, and one that they're very transparent about. It's why Bond Arms is redoing it instead of continuing the run. Among other things, I'm sure, like redesigning the magazine which has no follower. Personally, no follower makes me nervous. Maybe because it's TOO alien. Maybe they also want to try and create an empty hold open.

Looks like someone took the H&K magazine meme a little too serious.
>>31024356
Why do you do that? Comment on a gun you never heard about?
Have some modesty please.
>>31024174
Bond Arms is a gay fudd gun making company that Glenn Beck constantly shills for, fuck them.

Solution for a problem that doesn't exist

>too small for overall length
Quite the opposite with its design. Longer barrel than any other comparably-sized pistol.
>>31024456
>They typically end up selling for like $400.
BS. You can't get one for twice that price.
>>31025809
>fudd
How? Did they support gun control?
>>31026296
No. >>31025809 is just a knee-jerk GB hater.
>o my guurd. They advertized on gb's show!!!
Just because they've been making derringers without m-lok, he think's they're fudds.
>>31024174
It's has it's niche.
>>31024408
>innovation
not really, first (and only other) pistol to use that system was Mars Automatic designed around 1900.
>>31025867
Why minimal legal handgun barrel length might not be a thing in US, there are places where it is a thing, making it only compact available.

Derringers are innately fudd, if you cannot grasp that then you don't belong here.
Ian reviewed it for TFB.
