Does /k/ actually like TFB TV? Everyone I have talked to says he is definitely one of the most unreliable and boring "gun youtubers" out there. I watched a few of his list videos and I have to say most of them are /pol/ tier shit spewing.
>>
>>31005290
Hello new friend
>>
Clickbait videos and meaningless top 10 lists with a crippling monotone and admittedly good cinematography. Also trust fund kid daddy's money etc.

James is a good dude tho.
>>
>>31005290
I fucking hate Alex and his Youtube channel (stupid trust fund baby HK shill) but the other guys on TheFirearmBlog write some good, informative articles
>>
>>31005325
Definitely could tell he was pushing HK after watching just a couple videos
>>
>>31005308
Hello
>>
He makes good videos, but Alex is a chode. I don't whitelist his channel like I do with hickok or other guys.
>>
>>31005372
Pushing would have been an improvement. His shilling had all the subtlety of an avalanche when he declared the P7M13 the best metal wonder nine.
>>
>>31005290
TFB as a whole is quickly becoming unreadable. The incessant Nicholas C shitposts, Alex C's video shitposts, and the massive circle jerk in the comment section are the most glaring problems.
>>
>>31005536
You can't really shill something that isn't made anymore.
>>
>>31005641
He'll shill anything with an HK stamp on it. The fact that it's no longer in production doesn't make a difference to him.
>>
>>31005681
Yeah... I don't think you understand how shilling works.
Do you really think that homeboy is getting paid by them?
>>
>>31005290
Super opinionated as if his opinion is the end all on things. Otherwise he is rich so he can play with nice things, but this doesn't discount the faggotry associated with him.
>>
>>31005689
Fair point. Blatantly and unapologetically biased toward HK would be a more apt description than shilling.
>>
>>31005325
Is that the guy who pronounces Mosin as "Mawsin"?
>>
>>31005290
It's like firearm junkfood. It's easy to watch but should not be taken as anything close to fact. But you get to see some cool guns that you would not get to see otherwise.
>>
>>31005311
If you could call that good. He uses the same gimble panning shots in every single one of his videos. Shot gets old after the first two guns are shown.
>>
I watched a video where he tried to review an old antique pistol as though it were some kind of viable modern concealed carry weapon, commenting on the ergonomics, the trigger pull, trigger reset and similar characteristics.

Then there was some review I read on TFB where he took his PS90 out for "a ride-along on the ranch," whatever that means, and ultimately concluded that the 5.7x28 cartridge was not adequate for coyote, even though, from his own account of his testing, the gun never left its spot on the passenger seat of his truck for the entirety of his "test."

It's not that I have anything against people giving information or opinions, no matter how uninformed they are, but I'm not sure he really "gets it" as far as what normal poor people are interested in seeing or hearing about in gun reviews.

What makes it worse is that I come from a family kind of like Alex's. My parents aren't that wealthy themselves and my "trust fund" is well under $40,000, but it was enough to put me through college without me needing to go into debt or work. I had a great uncle who left lots and lots of money to his son, and which has filtered down to the grandson (my age), and I see a lot of characteristics in Alex that I see in him. Basically, I've learned the hard way that there is a lot to be said for developing a work ethic early in life by putting yourself out there into the free market and relying on market pressures to make it day to day. If TFB actually depended on viewership to keep it afloat, I bet they would change the writing quality of their reviews really quick, or risk going under.
>>
>>31005290
"Lel garbage-rod hahahaha everyone hates mosins right?? Right????"

Alex is a fucking faggot. I feel bad for the other guys on the channel who are actually pretty cool
>>
>>31006148
I think that was actually one of his better points. When you actually compare Mosins to guns that sell for just a few hundred dollars more, you'll understand for yourself one day.
>>
>>31006168
I honestly prefer shooting my Mosin to bolt guns I paid 8x more for.
Something about it is very simplistic and honest to the fundamentals of a big surplus war horse rifle.
>>
>>31005290
Alexi changed my mind about the Mosin.
>>
>>31006181
That's because you have taken the leftist propaganda pill to fetishize communist relics. To an objective observer, the Mosin has a lot of flimsy parts that fail frequently and is not a very smooth experience to shoot at all.

>Does /k/ actually like TFB TV?

He's a fag. Only thing he has going for him is his daddy's guns (which he tried to pass off as his) and the butthurt he experienced from tripping on /k/ is evident in the video where he trash talks the mosin more than the other 4 guns.
>mfw he admits to carrying a P7 and not even carrying most of the time

He clearly has more money than sense. And that's putting it lightly. He's a hobbyist at best.
>>
>>31006284
>the Mosin has a lot of flimsy parts that fail frequently
out of all the things to pick at, that's not one of them. The Mosin is a very robust rifle, and no part of it has ever failed me over ~1000 rounds, despite me being borderline abusive to it. The action is one of the smoothest I've felt on a Mosin, no problems with sticky bolt or the like because I actually maintain the thing. It's even decently accurate shooting old MG ammo.
My German Mauser was just as reliable once I gave it all new springs, too, and it has a smoother action. Still prefer the Mosin.
>all that /pol/jection about redpills and gommunism
yeah, no. my favorite bolt rifle remains an Enfield. But I'm sorry I triggered your autism when I actually liked something.
>>
OP here, just watched A few more videos. Why does he worship HK like its some kind of second coming of Christ? He flat out said the P7 is the "best metal nine you can buy"
>>
>>31006320
Conspicuous consumption.
>>
>>31006318
>my mosin has never failed me
>therefore no mosin has ever failed anyone ever
If you've never had a magazine pop apart and drop all your ammo on the ground, then you haven't shot enough Mosins.

>/pol/jection
Lol, no. The amount of Soviet fetishism on this board is unnatural, considering that Communists have killed around 100 million civilians outside of wartime due to government policies, forced relocation, induced famine, execution of dissenters and general corruption.
>>
The P7 is pretty great though famalam. Nice flat carry gun too.
>>
I hate ecelebs and everyone who advertises their shit. Kill yourselves.
>>
>>31006433
>you've never had a magazine pop apart and drop all your ammo on the ground
that's an error in maintenance, mst likely due to bending the retention spring on the release button. Every rifle fails when you break shit on it. I don't hold my Mauser's failures to eject against it, because it's extractor spring was well and truly shot, nor my Enfield's mag issues from the dead spring. Part of owning a gun is ensuring it's working properly.
>more /pol/ shit
|USSR killed millions. Germany killed millions. US killed millions. The tools have nothing to do with that, and reminds me of gungrabber's pathological fear of firearms. Grow the fuck up and understand they are just lumps of wood and metal, and not physical manifestation of political policy.
>>
>>31006481
I can't wait until Trump finally bans imported surplus and forces you autismos to buy American.

This country gave you everything and you won't support it. Sad!

MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN
>>
>>31006481
>error in maintenance
That's some pretty embarrassing damage control. It's a defective product.

>USSR
Communists
>Nazis
Socialists
>US killed millions
Outside of wartime? Citation needed.
>hurrdurr muh hoplophobia
Not even related to what I'm talking about. Take a step back from the computer, stop cooking your brain with your ushanka, and compare your Mosin piece of shit to anything made in the free world, next time you go shooting with a rich friend.
>>
>>31006525

God I hope not. US domestic firearms manufacturing is mostly garbage because Americans are lazy fucking cheapskates. Not that there isn't good domestic stuff but it's mostly junk and a total lack of innovation and creativity.

For every little company like desert tech trying something different there's a dozen places churning out ultra budget model AR15s or a retard with a lathe cutting holes in your Glock like ZEV.
>>
>>31006181
>>31006318
>liking Mosins more than anything

stop lying

whether it's to us or yourself, just stop
>>
>>31006433
>If you've never had a magazine pop apart and drop all your ammo on the ground, then you haven't shot enough Mosins.
I've never had this happen, nor have I heard of it.
you likely had a worn-out rifle, probably a wartime made postwar refurb.
try taking a moment to inspect your rifle before you buy, It would have saved you a lot of grief
>>
>>31006671
The magazine seemed perfectly retained while not firing the gun.

>your gun is worn out, tho
And yet the main thing that mosinfags claim is great about these pieces of garbage is their durability.
>>
>>31006728
Only a moron would believe "durability" means "never needs maintenance". All machines made by man require attention at some point to keep working, right down to a damned sledge.
>>
>>31006525
sup thatguy.
skipping the lithium again?
please recount for us your elaborate military surplus conspiracy theories.
I have a moment to kill and it's a fun read
>>
>>31006811
>everyone against me is one person

This scizophrenic delusion is why autists cannot be trusted with guns. It is only a matter of time becore any one of them takes these delusions too far and snaps.
>>
>>31006728
>And yet the main thing that mosinfags claim is great about these pieces of garbage is their durability
I never really got this, they're really not that more impressive then other period rifles
I challenge you to find a gun that isn't excessively worn by service in the hands of illiterate slav conscripts.
>>
>>31006791
Durability means being built sturdily enough that small parts won't easily break, which is not the case with these guns.
>>
>>31006839
man, I was just asking for the story bro.
no need to freak out about it.
>>
>>31006869
>small parts won't easily break, which is not the case with these guns.
gonna need a source on that, 2bh, given this is the first time I've heard of that part breaking.
>>
>>31006811
>yfw that guy was the best thing that ever happened to /k/.

He knew how to put cancerous autists in their place with wit and grace. They and their meme store sponsors cowered in fear at the mere mention of his name. The time when he was active was truly the time when /k/ truely belonged to real /k/ommandos. It is a tragedy that he has left us before he could finish the job and vanquish the cancer that is surplusshits once and for all.
>>
>>31006887
Feel free to provide a source for your claim about Mosins being durable enough to throw under a tank.
>>
>>31006933
>avoiding posting a source
heree's mine
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gfiXFyIbOZw
now your source
>>

>torture tests
>scientific
Don't think so, Clem.
>>
>>31006951
Still one more than you have.
>>
>>31006971
If it's not a source, then it's not a source.
>>
>>31006951
literally BTFO
>>
>>31006924
>that guy was the best thing that ever happened to /k/.
hello thatguy.
if you keep this silly stuff up, you're going to be the next squid
>>
>>31007003
If you keep this autismal shit up, mommy will drag you to the shrink and he'll take away all your rhodesia gear and your cheap nugget

>not that it's a bad thing since there's mow one less likely school shooter on the loose
>>
There's a reason that faggot Alex C doesn't post his dad's guns here anymore.
>>
>>31006284
>leftist propaganda

Take a trip away from /pol/ for once holy shit. You people are getting Alex jones tier.
>>
>>31006433
>magazine pop apart

Did you let a toddler assemble it for you? Literally never has been a problem for me nor anyone else with Internet access.
>>
>>31006307
>He's a fag.

With how many people here that are calling him a fag, is he actually a literal faggot or do people not just like him here?

>the butthurt he experience from tripping on /k/

Please elaborate. I don't know anything about this and now you guys have me interested.
>>
>>31006525
But American shit made after the 80s is shit. Get over yourself.

Also trumpfag. I get to laugh as everything your promised is a lie. Still better than Hillery though. I feel sorry for you guys.
>>31006481
>>31006318
I like you, you reason instead of sperging
You can stay.
>>
>>31006181
Tbh senpai I feel the same way. Nobody's arguing that a mosin is as good as a decent modern bolt gun, but it's honestly more fun to shoot for some reason. Might be unpacking spam cans.
>>
>>31006728
Dude. Some of these things are over a hundred years old. I would like to see your shit last that long.
