Anyone from NJ here? Have any of you guys ever successfully applied for a carry permit? Even though anyone can apply, general consensus is it's pretty much impossible unless you're an officer or if you work some kind of security job. Thoughts?

I got laughed at when I applied. Literally bitch behind a counter at the cop shop laughed.

NJ is a disgusting state with disgusting gun laws.

So I moved to PA. Paid 20$ and was issued a CCW on the spot.

Oh okay so you just don't have a permit. We do have some guns in our house that we don't have paper work for. If you have something worth protecting like kids and live in a shitty area, that's pretty much your only option I suppose.
