Not gonna lie, the army has given me some complexes about my body. When I first enlisted, I was stout as fuck. I had been working as a construction logistics guy, loading and delivering and unloading and stocking all day long. I was about 165 and stout. Big shoulders, big arms, but a core without toning and such. When I left basic I was 142, and I have a big head so I hated how I looked. I then started lifting hard and got up to 167 but I found that being bulky for your height makes army work a little unpleasant at elevation.

Dropped down to 150 with a focus on toned core, legs and arms/pecs and haven't left. Still got a head like a ripe fuckin' melon.
