Backstraps really don't work as well as actually reducing the area right behind the trigger along with the rear of the grip.

Do yourself a favor and get one, dude. I have the FNS-40, but I can't imagine the difference being significant in any way. Fantastic trigger, much better than my buddy's Glock and XDm. Ambidextrous controls, optional external safety, good ergonomics, super easy to field strip, factory night sights. The list goes on. Simply can't be beat for the price.

I knew I made a wise choice when I brought it in for registration and all the police at the station werr like, "thats a really nice handgun"

All the features aside (there are a lot of them yet it still comes out cheaper than the competitors) it's accurate asf. I was surprised it could put in a coin sized group at 10 yards, since it does have a very light barrel.

It's also a fucking FN, literally the toppest gun manufacturer, and probably the only thing I can afford from them. I've always wanted a five seven, now I can pretend I have one and the bonus is it isn't in a shitty caliber.

That's not a bad deal at all, though it looks like the sights are the standard white 3 dots. I paid $450 out the door for mine after the $25 transfer fee. Cheaper Than Dirt still has the FNS-40 on sale for $399, and I know for a fact they have night sights. You can also choose between a black slide or two-tone with a stainless slide if that's your style.

The 320 is a relatively new Sig. If anything, the problems you hear about Sigs are relating to the metal frame P22X line.

The P224 has been known to be complete shit. That and various runs of .40 P229's and stainless P220's. Both have suffered from instances of a bunch of guns having problems.

Things like rust and shit qc do not carry over to the 320 generally, do not be fooled.

I think the P320 should be good. For the most part the Sig P226, P229, P220, and P227 should be also be fine. However guns like the P224 can only be called guns because they are shaped like one. The thing was a $900 piece of shit for 4 years before Sig pulled it instead of fixing it. The P238 and P239 both suffer from easily damageable slide stop springs and extraction issues.

Unfortunately for Sig, at the time I wanted a Sig, the P224 and P238 were the guns I was interested in. Now I will not purchase a Sig until Ron Cohen dies.

Been debating between the P320 and the G19 for my first carry gun.

I have shot a ton of G19s (which i thought was just fine) but I can't seem to get my hands on a P320.

I can't leave. I'd have to cut some deep roots to get up and move to America, and I'm not willing to cut those roots just yet.
