>.45lc
>backpack sized innawoods gun
>outdated aesthetics without actually ever being something to have existed IRL
>cheap .410 shotshells for pop cans/squirrels/whatnot
If it was anymore /k/ it would be a mosin nugget.
If bolts were never invented tbqh.

They are few and far between. You couldn't properly hold them because of the gasses escaping
>taurus
>reliable
I want one of these because of their cool looks and plan on getting one sometime in the future
But can they take .45acp safely? There are moon clips made for .45acp for the judge out there. .45acp is cheap while .45 colt is not.
I know the Governor can take .45acp, but not so sure about a Judge
Are hot 45LC loads safe?

They were essentially obsolete by the time they were invented. I get the idea, before metallic cartridges it seems like the best option for a repeating rifle, but then there was the chain fire/ hot gas problem. Then we got metallic cartridges and built better repeating rifles.
They're like an interesting footnote in firearms evolution. A good idea on paper but mostly useless and nearly obsolete by the time they were invented.

yes, yes it is

I bought the pistol a couple years back just as a range toy. .410 shot is cheap and I thought it might be fun for milk jugs and such. It has quickly become one of my favorite guns though, and some of the ammo you can get for it are no joke either. It's now my bedside pistol.

My favorite Home defense load

let's see:
>anemic 45lc cartridge
>anemic 410 shots hello
>whopping 5 round capacity
>manlet sized stock
also, every time you shoot it the fucking
powder from the cylinder gap burns your supporting arm
it's the only gun I owned that I actually hated to shoot

In what world is .45LC anaemic?
>>30969021
in this world
it's an outdated low pressure cartridge that is surpassed by just about every other rimmed handgun cartridge out there
>>30969003
that shit it nasty
i have it loaded in my governor for a nightstand gun

225 gr at 1482 fps through an 18 inch barrel. Wow, so weak.

Rossi isn't Taurus. They're just owned by them.
