If you're using a suppressor, especially a quick detach between different firearms, fuck yeah its stupid not to have a suppressor wrap. If its just your barrel it can burn the living shit out of you after not too many rounds but most people aren't grabbing their barrel.

The big use there is to control heat mirage off of the barrel so it wont obscure your vision with, say, a scope.

Lmt sopmod and new style kac trigger.
Both came straight off my new kac lower.

$150 for the stock and $250 for the trigger.

The new trigger is kind of weird, the first stage is just take up and the second stage is a good crisp 4.5lbs break.
It's basically a single stage trigger like how a glock is a single stage.

So I called Springfield about my LWCO having FTEject problems, and they said I may have a lemon. They want me to send it to them, let them tinker for 2-4 weeks, and they'll send it back. As much as it pains me, I'm gonna have to do it if I want my little Operator to be okay.

I don't go hiking with the PC, I'm already at about 45 lbs of gear with rifle, two mags and pack. Doesn't sound like a lot but it wears you down over 20-30 miles.

Waiting for my permit to purchase to come in the mail. Then I will be assembling my first AR15. I read the whole sticky about the AR15. Any advice for buying a lower receiver? If I remember correctly that is the most important part to buy asap.

You'd want one of those 45 degree offset mounts. Impact Weapons Components makes several good ones.

If you didn't have that 10.5" barrel, I'd suggest a Mossie Midnight mount and an X300 or TLR1, but that'll put the light right above the flash hider on your pretend SBR, and the blast may cause problems with the light (plus you'd be cleaning that lens all the time).

IMO the only thing you pay for is maybe a better system to secure the gas block and for the adjustable ones (which you don't really need)
