I had 6 rifles and 8 handguns before I bought a nugget. Which I just bought today.

my calibre progression was 9mm -> 12 ga -> 22lr -> 30-30 -> .45 -> 5.56 -> .270 -> 7.62x54r over the course of 10 years. Still need to get 308/7.62x51 in the mix

.30-30 > .222 Rem > 7.62x54R (levernugget, not mine, secondary permit) > .270 Win > 12 ga > 7.62x39 > 9x19 > .44 mag (not mine, secondary permit) > 7.62x54R (autonugget, buying next Fri)

.223 ->7.62x54r ->7.62x39

So far I think x39 is my favorite
