One off from trips mane
Come on, someone tell me its just a gimmick and not worth it.
>>30735804
Just buy it. If we shit all over it you were going to ignore us and buy one anyways.

This guy seems to like it

Why? Loading Remingtons is one of the shittiest aspects of the design. Why not improve that. Not like it's $200 or some salient bullshit
DOn't you want to operate on his level?

Did you cut your barrel down? If so, what kind of work did you have to do to the gas ports to get it to cycle right?
>>30739016
It's cut to to 18" because the barrel was damaged in the last portion. It's a two port 3" magnum barrel.
the only thing I did to make it like Walmart shitloads was add a second O-ring. 90% reliability with those.
When I want to shoot high brass I just take off the extra O-ring and go to town, because it's 100% with that.

Thanks, I have a one port Magnum cut down to 18 3/4 that I tried the other weekend and it didn't like the low brass, was very good on high brass. I'll try the second o-ring before I set it up in the mill at work and add a second gas port.

Actually It's closer to 19.5" I just measured it again.
That's from the bolt face using a dowel.
I mean it's not like barrels for these guys are expensive or hard to come by, so if you just want to have a fun configuration, it's fun to too.
I was reserved with cutting another gasport because then 3" shells would be over pressured. I figured if it wouldn't take low brass it'd just be a baller ass buckshot gun.

I had 4 barrels for this shotgun when I got it. 2 magnum with fixed chokes, 1 steel shot 3" magnum and one 2 3/4" non steel shot. Both of those last two have changeable chokes.

Well no worries then, If the two O-ring trick doesn't work then drill away.
Do note though that after a few hundred rounds the extra starts to get a little chewed up.

Buy a pack of o-rings. Not an issue considering the o-rings are considered the weak point in 1100's from my understanding.
