I named my Type 53 mosim to 删除寿司, and I think that's beautiful. Engraved it onto the receiver.

Giving your gun a name just for the sake of it is pretty pretensional and gay.

I only find it acceptable if the gun earned its name somehow by doing a specific thing with it (like I dunno, shooting at mexicans near the border and calling your gun "Trump" or something) but that doesn't happen very frequently.
