Anyone here love grenades and explosives?

There's so much to love about grenades, why don't people talk about these more often? Opinions on grenades in modern war? Experiences?
pic related, my favorite gun with my favorite grenade, always thought it looked badass
That might just be the most ridiculous looking rifle grenade I've ever seen. I like it.
One thing I learned in the Army is that explosives are dangerous and if you don't need to be near them then stay away.
I used C4, Det Cord, M67s, LAWs, Dragons, AT4s and TNT. I have all of my limbs because I respected what they could potentially accomplish.
I say leave them to EOD and the Sappers.

always reminded me of some soviet Red Alert type undermounted Tesla Coil, found it in an old weapon catalog
pic related is pretty strange looking as well, think its used by cops mostly though
The couple times I've fired the M203 (HE and smoke) were underwhelming.
It looks so badass in movies and games but in real life...

Meh

>it's not nuclear
Waste of material.
Here was a last ditch grenade made of ceramic from the japs. Looks classy as hell.
What the hell is that?
Post a cooler rifle+GL combo.

My favorite part of M203 or Mk19 rounds is watching them sail in toward the target. So much hang time on the Mk19 especially. I always imagined that one of the shittiest things in the world must be watching a flight of 3 to 5 of those things coming your direction and not being able to do a damn thing about it.

>see a mp5
AN - an mp5.
You fucking kids and lack of education are so disappointing.
I feel like I'm talking with spooks down on Woodward Blvd in Detroit.
