It's basic survival 101. If a guy has a gun on you then you do what he says. You don't try to draw and shoot a person already aiming at you. You don't try to grapple the gun away. You don't even get out of the car and shoot him when he isn't looking; that will just put you through 2 years of court cases, thousands of dollars in fees, and a firearm and vehicle that you wont have for those said years.

You get out and let your car get stolen and then call the police. It just isn't worth risking your life needlessly.

Someone who commits armed robbery either has harmed people or will harm people. Even most scumbags will never go as far as armed robbery.

If someone is willing to use a gun to steal your car you have to assume they are willing to kill you.
