I'm looking for some advice, /k/. Being a poorfag, I'd like to use my bedside gun as a CCW. It's a Gen4 G34, and I was thinking of CCing it with a light attached.

What are your thoughts on using a weapon light for CC?

Good bedside gun, good duty pistol. CCW? ehh..how tall are you?
>>
>>30245224
6 foot 4. I've also considered trading it for a G17. I just don't know much about using lights on my CC.
>>
>>30245256
I wouldn't.

Is the glock 19 too small for your giantism hands?
>>
>>30245268
It is. I know a ton of people wear them, I just prefer something bigger.

Also, why not? I have no issues with either gun.

Something like an X300 Ultra or TLR-1 that sticks out a bit? Ehh, maybe not. I really REALLY like the idea of getting an XC1 on a Glock 19 if I ever get around to buying one.

The XC1 sits flush on a 19 and only weighs ~2oz with batteries so it really doesn't make a difference. Travis Haley has a good video explaining this and testing the light out.

That's why I kind of like the idea of a 34 with a 300 Ultra. It'd be almost flush with the end of the barrel. The 17, though, I don't think would work with the light sticking out past the slide, but it's likely be more concealable.

Though a 17 looks alright with an Inforce APL.

That's actually my Glock-OP nicked one of my photos.

For shame! Go read it-I just finished. Great book.

Is inforce actually any good? I heard the HSP lights they made were hot garbage but apparently they stepped their game up.
