Guys, is there an AR-15 with lower receiver that takes AK mags while accepting a standard AR-15 upper receiver ?
I was suggested Palmetto State Armory, and it would have been a perfect rifle, but when I look at the lower receiver seperately, they say that it fits only on their upper receivers.
Does anyone know of something that will fit with all uppers ?

The problem with the CMMG mutant is that it's a special bolt in between the size of the regular AR-15 bolt and that of the AR-10, thus also requiring a propietary upper.
I want to be able to use any standard AR-15 upper receiver and "standard" AR-15 7.62x39 bolts because all of this is easier to acquire in my country.
If this is not possible, I'd like to know but I'm hoping someone can point me to a rifle or lower receiver that has this option.

It certainly helps when applied properly. If you're putting an FF rail on an AR used for 0-200 shooting with an unmagnified optic/irons, you're going to get fuckall benefit.

I was looking at MGI's thing but when looking at their lower receiver seperately, they also state that it's made for use with their upper receiver.
And this makes me wonder if it's a marketing scheme thing, because I'm not exactly seeing anything special about their upper receivers.

The problem as I see it is that if it uses the standard Ak-47 style mag release the physical location of it would interfere with the position of the receiver takedown pins on a standard upper. So IDK if it s even possible.
