Not sure if bait or not but I would highly recommend keeping your rifle stock with irons and save up for a free float rail and some good optics. If you buy that shit it will add weight while barely improving your rifle and eventually that shit will end up sitting in a shoe box for a few years. I'd get the light though... not that one. the Primary Arms gen 2 or gen 3 is much better and doesn't cost much more.

At this point probably steel USGI. Been experimenting with various types of polymer mags, but I keep running into things I don't like about them. The steel mags just work, they are slick for easy removal from pouches, and they load flawlessly from stripper clips.

Also trying out some ETS glock mags lately, when the follower in one of them broke, I replaced it with a Magpul glock mag follower, and it seems to work fine so far (loaded up to full capacity, fed without incident, haven't shot it yet.) Those followers seem to be made of cheap plastic, and I'm skeptical how well they will hold up to doing work in my 9mm AR.
