Are there any books/websites that go into the details of modern military battles? I'd like to read more about them other than those shitty Wikipedia entries that only cover the overview of an operation

Jajajajaja ja, Shit dawg I can find books about anything gimme a minute.
This could be a tough one though.
Could you be looking for something along the line of case studies. Like a researcher that was analyzing modern battles/firefights.

could you be a little more specific. I am kind of looking for things regarding like the entire battle of falujah or, The recent ISIS campaigns.
Are you looking for statistics about the ranges firefights have been occurring in and information regarding how contact is made and mitigated.
Pretty much the more info the better.

I spend a lot of time browsing books and manuals similar to how enthusiasts browse things like weapons or suspension kits for vehicles.

I just came across a PDF called "Between the rivers" combat action in Iraq 2003 - 2005. It appears to be worth a look.
I also found a book that was called "forensic analysis of april 11 1986 FBI firefight" This one seems to be an in depth analysis of a firefight that lasted 40 minutes so could be useful.

Title; "Armed Conflict, The Lessons Of Modern Warfare". The goal of the book is to educate on what future warfare will look like but does so by analyzing warfare that occurred between Korea and Somalia. Written by an officer.
