Is .38 shotshell adequate enough to remove snek when fired out of a 4 inch barrel.
If you get close enough

>removing snek
WHY?
>>29935823
Because wild snakes are a shit
>>29935849
Genetically enginered snekgirls for domestic ownership aren't

It typically patterns very poorly. Either carry a shotgun or get close enough to nail it with whatever your typical .38 carry load is.
>>29935726
Probably
Snek is cool though
>>29935796
How close? All I need is 15ish feet at absolute most.
>>29935726
yo dude, just as an FYI don't just go around killing rattlers willy-nilly for shakin their tails at you. We're running into a problem where rattlesnakes have stopped buzzing their tails because people tend to kill them as soon as they find them.
Also yes it should be, so long as you use decent size shot. Be warned though that snakes are tough as shit and can still nip ya hours after they've died.

Eh, I used it out of my dad's COP to kill snakes when I was a kid. Then moved up to a Thompson Contender with .410. But no real complaints, you just have to get close. And if you're dealing with cotton mouths that's not too ideal.

This ammo is crap don't buy it I fired some at cans from 25 feet and it was useless. The only time I hit anything with it was when the plastic part stayed intact and struck one of the cans.
Do not do removing of snek
Don't kill snakes. Don't buy snake-shot, learn to aim. Both of these things make you a dildo.
>>29935726
yes, but load at least 2
seems like the first is always a miss or near miss
they do tend to move quick when shot at
copper moccasins and water heads are aggressivea and hard to kill, anyway
not sure about rattlers
>>29935726
Yes.

It's not for use at 25'. It's for use at OH FUCK A SNAKE range.
