Dear /k/ the blade of this 1882 saber seems to new for the rest of the sword, how should I know if it's not a repro?

Now you're just trolling stop posting this thread.
Put salt on it

It would been trolling if I knew the answer, have you checked how the last thread end?

The thumbnail looks like it broke. I almost got mad for a second.

It was answered in the first 20 posts. Not my problem you can't do a little leg work because you'd be too far from your supply of hot pockets and insulin.
>>29928574
maybe it was well taken care of?
>>29929186
Doesn't matter, where is the patina?
>>29929438

Bumping for more educated opinion

of fucking course its repro

WTF
>>29928574
did not see the last thread but from what I can see the blade does look right and was probably just well cared for/left in the sheath and not used very much, it is much like a relic carcano bayonet I got which has the hilt and scabbard rusted to hell and the blade is pretty good shape, what rust is on the blade is from where the scabbard rotted through and even then I suspect whoever dug it up made more holes in the scabbard cleaning off whatever mud they dug it out of. pic and followng pics related

Currently not present, check back in another century or two.

FOR THE LAST TIME
THERE ARE NO PROOF MARKS OR MANUFACTURER MARKS ON THE BLADE OR POMMEL
IT IS A REPRO OR A KNOCK OFF NOT ACTUALLY ISSUED TO REAL SOLDIERS
