The one in particular I'm thinking of the guy said he left his AR that he put a lot of love into because the RCMP would fuck him in the ass for not following the laws for restricted firearms. I think the main issue for a lot of the people affected was that we didn't really have all that much time to prep for evac since the fire more or less surprised everyone by jumping up to 10 times its size in like three hours. The city went from "voluntary evac for some neighborhoods" to "standby for some neighborhoods" to "everybody needs to gtfo" in like an hour in itself.
