I watched a 220lb 6'3" muscle bound monster fall out and have to hand his crew served weapon off to a 5'7" 150lb speedster.

If you're small and conditioned, you can move fast and with stealth. You don't require much food. You are more difficult to detect. You can move further, faster and fight harder than any other soldier.
