Hey /k/ so I decided that I want to get into guns but where and how do I start?
>go to gun store
>buy a gun
>buy bullets
>shoot gun
You're not into guns.

go to your local wal-mart of cabela's and ask if they sell any hi-points
Probably not with imaginary vaporware.
Get a Mosin Nagant, WASR AK, SKS, and a Makarov.

what country do you live in, this board is 80% americans so 80% of the answers will be "buy a gun and go to the range" unless you specify
If you want a pistol get a Ruger MK III
If you want a rifle get a Ruger 10/22
I encourage anyone getting into guns to start out with a .22
And the two aforementioned guns are the best 22's in their respective categories.
go to your local gun range, and rent out a gun. if you want to do it right rent out a .22. it's a small round with very little kick, so you can kinda get a feel for what you're doing. if you like shooting, get yourself a piece. simple as that

This is good advice OP. Once you get a feel for shooting a handgun then decide if you want a semiauto or a revolver. At the gun range or shop ask to look at several models to find what feels comfortable in your hand (very important).

Also I'd recommend taking a safety course they will teach you proper form, ins and outs of maintenance, and once you do they will give you a certificate that you can apply for conceal carry/ open carry if your state allows it

I'd honestly recommend a safety course to anyone who doesn't know about guns and is a first time buyer. Also avoid secondhand dealers trying to offload a fudd gun or anything with the names lorcan or hi-point (nigger guns more likely to explode in your hands or jam)
OP here, thanks for the help I am an autismo and couldnt figure it out.

HEY OP
HEY

LOOK HERE
This anon has the correct answer. There is no other correct answer. Cuz here's what happens. You decide you don't like shooting? You're not out much money. You decide you like shooting? Both of those are such awesome guns that you will keep them forever, even as you buy bigger stuff. It's 100% a win-win.
I started with a .357 snub nose revolver and it caused bad habits it took me years to shake.

But anon what about the casings, primer, and powder too?

Bro you're not reloading. You don't need to...are you fucking with us? You don't need to buy that shit. Factory ammo comes with all that shit.
Buy or rent a .22. Rifle or pistol. Your preference. Buy some .22 ammo. CCI or Federal is a safe bet. Go shoot it.

Hes not OP tho
I would find someone who is into shooting and get them to take you. if you are social retard i'd just drink 5+ pints of vodka over the next 5 hours, and end it here and now.
