Sup /k/ just bought these two 1920's mosins at a lgs today. Its hard to tell from the pic but one of them has brass bands on it instead of the typical steel/tin. Any of you ever seen that before?
>>29716861
Yes, My 1929 has them and my 1941 Round had them too
Here's a closer look
1/2
>>29716861
>>29716875
2/2
that was the original band they came with, before cutting them out for war production.
>>29716861
How much did you pay?
>>29716861
Oh look it's fucking nothing. Get a real gun, autist.
>>29716874
What does it mean?
Any extra value?
>>29716950
Its older, No
>>29716897
240 each, Did i do good?
>>29716903
I am almost certain that something in russian 7.62 is a real gun you massive raging chromosexual.
>>29716980
You bought 91/30, So no.
>>29716861
Pre 91/30 nuggets usually had them
>>29716989
Not a real gun. Nuggetfags are have been considered nogunz for some time now due to the low status of their toys.
May I suggest something more relevant with actual value in usage made within the last 5 years?
>>29716903
If i want a glock or an ar i can literally go anywhere to get one. Finding guns made 90 years ago in great condition is getting harder and harder, senpai.
>>29717029
Nah i already have my semi auto carry and ar fun gun. You can go back to the glock forums now.
>>29716980
fucking hell these prices.
I bought two for 240 in 2012
>>29717048
Im not sure why, but all my local gunstores are selling mosins 300$ and up, and even on armslist for my state i couldnt find any below 300.
>>29716980
If your happy with what you paid then yes you did good. If I saw a great mosin that looked good and was free of cosmoline then I would pay it if i had the itch for it. Hopefully the bores are in good shape.
>>29717029
desu m8 for many years it was a great little piece of history for the money and youre wasting wasting your own time by shitting on a perfectly good anon's thread just because he's late to the party
>>29717098
nigga he just wants attention
idk why, but just ignore him
>>29717072
Yea they are perfect., no pitting or bulging to speak of, and there is no bolt stick whatsoever. I'm a bit of a noob when it comes to mosins, anything I should watch out for?
>>29717065
>>29717048
Getting old russian mosins is getting harder and harder because of the weapon importing ban on east europe breh
>>29717029
What's wrong with pre 2010 gats? I know of a lot more new funs that are failures compared to older ones.
Oh, and a gun is a gun you fucking tard.
>>29716861
Fuck yeah, OP. We have the same laptop.
>>29717029
>>>/opchan/
Srs kiddo. Kill yourself. Don't care if your master roosing or not, too many people seriously think like this
>>29717286
>/opchan/
I fucking hate what /k/ has become over the years, but for all of the retardation here, thank fucking God we are not on opchan's level of autism and shitposting.
>>29717029
nigga i got like 4 guns and my nugget is my favorite. nuggets are fun as shit
>>29717306
We're getting there, fellow old /k/omrade.
>>29717306
you know, sometimes I think the autism is getting way too much here. Then I look at the other boards on this website.
It could be worse.
I think we're just getting older, and less tolerant of the 'tism.
>>29717113
Don't bother buying any bandoliers or stripper clips that are new production. Also if your old enough to buy a rifle, then you should invest in a C&R license. Only $30 dollars and makes any gun over 50 years eligible to ship to your door. But I digress.. Good luck and post some bore picks
>>29717419
>. Only $30 dollars and makes any gun over 50 years eligible to ship to your door.
but can't ATF show up and check your bound book at will?
>>29717438
>implying they will
>>29717029
>last 5 years?
So guns are now cell phones?
Why am I responding? This is bad bait.
>>29717438
No ATF cannot inspect your premises. Your still required to write down all your C&R purchases but with no inspections its really hard to get mess that one up.
