There's a p-25 raven in a store near me. It's in pretty nice condition and I've always wanted a mouse gun.
It's being sold for $100, which I believe is about the middle of what they usually go for.
Anyone here have one?

My mom does. I've never shot it. It's going to be exactly what you think it is.

A bunch of fun and maybe for use as defensive carry in some situations?

OK, it's not going to be anything like you think it is.
Seriously though, probably fun to shoot, but the ammo is pricey. As for SD...maybe as a last resort.

Yeah, I've seen a few people killed with the .25 before. Situations where they've been shot in the head, they can sometimes not die immediately, even then, but they will be thoroughly out of working order. But truly, I don't know if I'd rely on it heavily for any sort of "this isn't going to be a first shot brain shot for sure" situation.

No.
My grandfather traded for one of these in a bar back in the '70s or '80s. We recently discovered some stashed belongings including the P-25. Lubed it up, cleaned it up, and took out to shoot. The thing jammed literally every pull of the trigger. Piece of absolute shit.

See if you can get it for less. Early Ravens were apparently decent guns that usually went bang with every trigger pull.
Not exactly sure how to date a Raven though, or anything about the serial number range.

kek
Don't those things go off when dropped?

It was probably used to put down hookers. Don't really need more than one shot.
