What's wrong with the PPQ? It seems like a great pistol, but the market doesn't agree.

It's a functionally fine pistol, but I personally think it looks weird as hell. Am I alone?

same thing that's wrong with the m9a1.

these gun companies don't know how to advertise like block
>>
>>29577986
It's probably the fact it's made by Walther. Doesn't have that same appeal as hk, glock, colt, or other makers.

I have one. It's nifty.
>>
>>29577986
As the owner of a first gen "Classic" PPQ, I can tell you that it is a great pistol. The grip is ridiculously comfortable.
>>
The trigger is great. I had an issue with the ergos on the one I rented involving the back strap but I believe it comes comes with different sizes so it could be remedied easily. I'll probably be getting one as my next purchase.
>>
>>29577986
nothing at all, its a great pistol. Personally I think the texture on the grip looks funky. it feels great however.
>>
I like the PPQ, but the P99 looks cooler.

and

That's pretty much it. It has one of - if not the - best striker-fired triggers available from the factory. Accurate to boot.

I know you're trolling, but before some unsuspecting nowalther gets caught, the PPQ predates the VP9 by 7 years, and the P99 (which is scarcely 5% different to a PPQ, pic related) by another ten years on top of that.

The slides are switched
>>
>>29578150
God of only they had left the slide profile the same. I'm sure I'll be perfectly happy with a gen1 P99 though, still gives me plenty of boners
>>
>>29577986
Looks like a cheaper p30 copy.
The fall down plastic block to disassemble always bothered.
The one Walther I've ever bought, was new, came defective.
>>
Nothing. The VP9 has a better grip, but that's it. The walther sights and trigger are better. The VP9 has more accessories available. I decided on the p99 because but am buying a PPQ soon for USPSA.

Idk. People keep going with Meme guns that are advertised and reviewed super well, I've tried my hand at several concealed guns and shot best with the PPS, which i love dearly. My brother has a ppq and i shoot well with it too.

For some reason people like to believe that these newer polymer handguns are all super different, and that they need to suck a specific brands dick.

I just shot better with this single stack than the others. Not to mention the ergo's work for my hands. Some people hate the new ppq and pps. I wish Walther got more love. they seem to be fading out.
>>
>>29577986
I associate the Walther brand with cheap pot metal.
>>
>>29580587
Honestly, the PPX looks like a hipoint. The PPQ is a regular size pistol. Did you even look?
>>
>>29577986
Looks like a Hi-Point.
>>
>>29580731
Because of the cheap .22 they make, like everyone else?

It's alright. It was too small for my hands though, even with the large backstrap so I ended up selling it. The trigger was nice, the break was clean but the pre-travel was too much and the break was too far back.

I also had issues with mine when chambering the first round of a magazine. The first round of the magazine would stove pipe up when feeding and the slide would slam shut on it and would dent the cartridge so badly that it often would puncture it. It happened to me too often to keep.

So between the grip size and the feeding malfunctions, I just couldn't justify keeping it anymore after I bought a Glock 19 which felt better in my hands and I shot better as well.
>>
>>29580731
That's because you're retarded, anon.
>>
>>29578150
Do those guns function with the slides switched?

Have one too and love it.

Also cats approve
>>
My problem with the gun isn't the PPQ itself but walther as a company. They have poor quality control and we haven't been able to keep a P22 rental on the shelf for L I T E R A L L Y more than two weeks before it catastrophically fails (last time the top of the slide blew off with american eagle .22lr)
>>
>>29581729
Yes they do, however the P99 decocker does not function on the PPQ frame because it doesn't have the correct transfer bar.

>>29580731
>>29581893
You're associating Walther with Umarex, which is sad because it's what Umarex wants you to do. You're missing out.
