Are there any guns that can be taken apart without the use of tools and not shit itself in the field?
AK?

you can take the M9 completely apart with a stick and flat bit of metal

The Mausers. Impossible to fuck up.
Browning hi-power

Nothing needed to completely strip. Firing pin works to punch out mainspring pin and trigger spring tab works on grip screws.
Ayyy /k/

What about the little plungers and plunger springs in the slide?

It's almost like the Russians were onto something
>>29545680
you can't take apart the bolt with out a vice, hammer, and punch.
>>29545653
This. Everyone talks about "omg gunsmith so much work and maintenance need to be john browning himself to work on them" when they are actually the easiest pistols to work with on a detail-strip level.
>>29545857
Its because the average 1911 lover is mentally deficient
>>29545857
I have seen GI 1911s with distinctive little dings on the slide. Realized it was the slide being used as a hammer to drive the mainspring pin out.
>>29545539
I don't remember needing anything to take apart the m16, m249, or m240 back at basic
Which was like a year and a half ago, haven't touched one since then. Nursing Strong. Serving to heal.

Well armed but mentally deficient.

Not even memeing.

And if you ever have to remove the stock for whatever reason the bayonet works as a screwdriver.

You slavaboo faggots are confusing a field strip for a detail strip.
>>29545539
The AUG. All the way down to the fireing pin.
>>29546128
But you won't need to detail strip any rifle to keep it functioning in the field as per op question
>>29545891
You haven't shot a qual in a year and a half?
Wow.

can't populate an AR barrel without tools :^)
>>29545539
C7 is easy to take apart. All you need is a bullet or multi-tool to take out the little pin in the bolt carrier.
>>29545768
You can just push or pull them through, nothing actually holds them inside except pressure from a kink in the spring. The plunger tube is riveted to the frame, and requires a special tool to replace.

Nigger, you can't populate any barrel without tools.

Cough cough shotgun barrel cough cough
>>29546706
*cough cough* shotguns are very role-specific downrange.
>>29545539
A Ruger Mini-14 can be taken down using nothing but a drift punch (or a stick if you don't have one) or a screwdriver.

Unlike the AK, right?
