Like >>29509556 said I haven't gotten my eyes checked in a couple years and when I tried my friend's dot it looked like a fiery oval. Eventually I'll get glasses or something, but it's not bad enough that I need glasses to drive or anything.

Glasses may not fix it completely. It's better than contacts, and contacts are better than nothing, but the dot isn't perfect for me. It's funny too, because when I first got it I thought my optic was shitty until I learned about the issues with my astigmatism.
