So I was trying to signal a man driving that my autistic brother may try to cross the street, you see he is sick and sometimes bolts, children with this condition do that. The fuckers reved his engine and accelerated towards us. I was worried for my brother so we tried to calm him down in place. The man in the vehicle stopped and came out with a gun.
He was shouting something about being scared for his life as he proceeded to empty his mag at us.

OP, you need to completely change your mindset if you wanna be carrying a gun.

I had a guy cut me off and give me the finger the other day. Normally I would have given him the finger back or even throw a soda can at his car, but since I now carry a gun, I make it a point to be overly polite and/or just ignore confrontation.

Had another guy flip out because "I took his parking space" in Walmart, even though there were three spaces empty on both sides of me. He was just cussing me out and threatening to kick my ass. I just laughed and walked away while he was telling me to come back.

The goal is to de escalate situations when you have a gun.

Some broke ass wannabe thug nigger or beaner throwing up gang signs in the road is a perfect example of a situation where you roll your eyes and just go on with your days.

99% of people are all talk and would cry like a bitch if you actually pulled a gun on them. That's why you have to ignore this kind of shit.

Only use your gun for when your life is actually in danger.

Get a LCP, train and practice with it. A great carry round for it is Hornandy Critical Defense, it is probably the only 380 that RELIABLY expands when fired from a sub-3" barrel at a FBI standard 4 Layer Denim + Gel target, with just the right amount of penetration.

If you can get the MAG GUTS kit so you can fit 7 rounds in the stock mag W/o having a tumor hanging off the bottom. That way it keeps a low profile, with a pocket holster, invisible in even the thinnest light shorts.

Avoid the promag aftermarket mags, they are unreliable.

Fbi minimum penetration is like 12 inches, no .380 jhp consistently and reliable goes pass 12 inches. The Lehigh does around 13-16 inches and the grooves on the bullet gives more expansion than ball ammo. If you think that's too much penetration, you're either ignorant or just retarded.
