I really want an m1a/m14, should i get a rockola, fulton armory,

springfield armory

i have a new one, its good. havent cleaned it in a few thousand rounds. good gun. would trust my life too.

i have standard wood stock one nothing fancy

What was cleaning doctrine during the M14 years in the army like?


Considering that detail strips are bad for the bedding/accuracy did they have less strict cleaning policies then?

To be fair, that troy chassis was diverting all the sand right into the chamber. And ARs don't malfunction from side exposure normally. It's from shit in the mags or magwell.

I can't really justify spending a grand on a M1A, is springfield sort of the only option if I value my hands and don't want to be shooting a glorified grenade?
