De-faging fans are a bad idea - that air eventually blows inside the helmet, gets into your eyes and after a while causes irritation, followed by tears.

Plus, I don't think any amount of airblow will help in really humid conditions.

Antifog spray is the best solution so far.

This armor built functional plus the ten minute turbine jetpack gives me the strangest feels. Not much into cosplay but when its real that's different.

Depends, I'm assuming the NCR Ranger helmets use the camera setup on the right side for the actual feed which then gets projected into the eyes like an HUD, in contrast to our current tech which works more like a flip up scope. So the most difficult bit would be making all the circuitry and wiring for the eyes fit, the gas mask would be pretty simple.

Throughout history the largest problem with helmets is not being able to see your feet and body... not having a design that allows your eyes to see with as much coverage as if you weren't wearing a helmet.

With the panels held on with magnets it would break off deflecting the bullet and most of the force. At first I loled at the detachable ballistic plates then I saw they are slabs of kevlar and rubber and thought about it. Kinda clever.

I've actually built a working replica, night vision and hud included.

I'm using a small microprocessor to overlay gps coords, radiation in rems, and battery level onto the video feed.

The display is a set of cheap fpv racing glasses.
