Bought a Glock 43 for concealed carry iwb. Did I fuck up?
inb4 6 round mag

no, I bought the 42 and like it. If it has a spot in your heart it'll serve
>Bought a Glock
sure you did
>>28374086
What a doofus. OP should have downloaded one like we did.
>>28373942
I bought a 43 for pocket carry only. If it's gonna be IWB, I want some thing larger. 43 for pocket, 19 for IWB.
>>28374086
That's the thing, I fuckin hate glocks but it was either that or a Ruger lp9s at about $75 cheaper.
I went with the glock because I figured there will be a shit ton of after market parts for it.

I'm thinking of picking one up and grabbing a few of these for use at the range:

How much did you pay, OP?
>>28374160
>hates glocks
>buys one anyway
>>28374160
I mean if you actually bought a gun you would have posted a picture of it.
>>28374125
I'm relatively small as it is so I figure anything bigger will than the 43 will print no matter the holster. Not to mention most of the time I will need my shirt to be tucked in.
>>28374167
I paid $497 after tax.

Learn to dress properly. My gay trap friend is 5'8" weighs probably close to 130ish, he can CC a 19 pretty easily. Appendix carry helps the most with that.
>>28374182
I was to lazy...
>>28373942
You did okay
I've had my Shield since before Glock decided to use common sense, so I have no want for a single stack 9mm
>>28374271
He works at best buy, has to keep his shirt tucked in. If he can do it, you can too.
>>28374276
I'm told the shield is nice.
Depends on your threat model. Love the size of the 43 for IWB but I carry 2 x 26 for those extra rounds.
>>28374282
I thought you were talking about me until you said best buy. But I too have the tucking issue and can cc a g19.
>>28374311
In hind sight I probably would have given the 26 a look. I was just under the impression that I needed it to be thinner than what I really needed it to be.
>>28374344
26 is nice. I carry one with the standard flush mag...I carry a G19 mag with a xgrip sleeve for back up.
>>28374344
yeah so IMO it depends on how big you and your hands are. big guys can get away with carrying a 19 easily. I'm average sized with big hands but both size small guns work for me. The 43 will always be great for hot days when you are wearing a light amount of clothing but it being winter now that probably isn't happening in awhile. All guns are made for a specific application, the 19 makes for a great bedside defense or as originally conceived for undercover work.

>Ruger only $75 cheaper than a Glock
Sure...
>>28374125
Honestly, I did this exact thing, but with the Taran tactical base plates and the comfy ass pocket carry, I have just started exclusively carrying my 43. Both pocket and IWB. Love that shit
>>28374503
The difference may have been a little more than $75 but less than $100. If it was any more than that I would have bought it instead.
>>28374525
I was looking at the TTI extenders but found some plastic +2's cheaper. If those don't work out I will be going with the TTI's for sure.
>>28374593
I used some of those extenders. Thought they were shit...I had so many double feeds.
>>28374272
"to" lazy to hit the extra o when typing?
Checks out.
>>28374305
Until you feel one in your hand. Grip feels like grabbing a deck of cards.
>10 mm Glock or nothing
That will be all
>>28374725
Uh what? Have you ever shot a compact Kahr? Those grips are dildos, the shield is fine for the intended purpose.
>>28374749
10mm in a subcompact sounds miserable
I would worry about +2's because of the spring. Pearce makes a nice +1 that brings the mag to the same length as the extensions that glock includes and i haven't had any problems with misfeeds or the slide not locking back. If the +2's come with a new spring that's probably ok but if not maybe see if Wolff makes a extra strength 43 mag spring.
