Can /k/ make their own reamers, drill bits, tools for boring? I want to make firearm barrels
> INB4 /diy/
You can definitely make your own barrels but if you have to ask how (if) they are made then you won't be making any.
You need to buy offhand or commission a machinist.

i don't know if /k/ can but it's possible.

Commission a machinist to make tools for machining? What

The tools can be had for far, far less than it would cost you to make or have them specialty made. Brownells or other gunsmithing supply houses will have firearms specific tooling, McMaster Carr and others will have the more usual machine tooling. A lathe can be had used for decent prices, and it is possible to bore and rifle on an engine or tool room lathe.

how are babies made?
this is not a great place for that kind of help, it moves too fast, there are tons of shitposters. slow, registration required, topic specific places that stay up for ever are a much better resource.

Sure. People make custom cutting bits all the time. You need some tool steel and a way to heat treat it.

> get steel
> get heat source
> now what?
>>28089119
Insert steel into ass, head into heat source. Then buy a barrel from a professional and enroll in a fucking technical school.
