Just picked this up over the weekend. Did I do good and should I restore it?

How much?
And maybe if it is a good shooter/you really want to/have money to blow/want experience restoring.

200.
The only reason I'd want to restore it is for ascetics I haven't gotten to shoot it yet because .303 is hard to find around me but it seems to operate smoothly

I bought mine in original condition for 300, you got jipped breh.

If you have a cabelas nearby they keep 303 Brit made by herters in stock for about $.75 a round. If no cabelas, order online. Like 8mm mauser, its a sadly underappreciated round here in the US

1. Yeah, I paid 180$ CAD for mine. It wasn't sporterized, it was just missing parts.
2. If you are going to restore it, hit up Liberty Tree Collectors online.
3. Restoring it will cost you at least 200$ Just looking at the picture, you'll need bottom stock, and the top two handguards.
4. Once restored, complete Enfields are only worth 400$ CAD anyways unless yours is somehow special, which I doubt, since it was sporterized.
5. Why is the end of the barrel so blackened as compared to the rest?

>should I restore it?
The tip of the barrel has been cut off. You'd need a new barrel to properly restore it.
You really fucked up OP.

$200 isn't a bad price, no deal but could have been worse. And yes totally buy a new stock and bands and restore it to its former glory. Throw old cut down stock in a fire.

>Sporterized enfields for as low as 150$ CAD
>Better condition than OP's
You got screwed if you paid 200 USD
