I mean I would guess that Air Force platforms can simply collect more due to their altitude but Navy platforms can get access to more sensitive stuff simply by virtue of the fact that it's not always easy to know if they are present... Good luck, ELINT in general has been sort of dead since the soviet's fell, but it's probably going to start seeing a little more focus with China releasing more new systems aand Russia getting uppity.

COMINT is a fun field and has definitely been the focus in our current conflicts.

PARPRO missions were a lot of fun, We would go up into and around the Sea of O and mess with N.Korea China and Soviets all on same mission. They were joint Navy and Air Force. Being Navy (P-3) we we the bait. You can look up PARPRO in goodle these days, 40 years ago thy would lock you up for saying the word outside a secure space.
