Hey /k/. What's the best game to simulate air combat these days?

As a kid I remember learning about planes/choppers and their weapons not from books or TV, but by playing games like TFX, Chuck Yeager's Air Combat, or B-17 Flying Fortress.

Last sim game I bought was Falcon 4.0, but... I never played it, as it required joystick, and mine broke.

So, what would you recommend to look at?

Are you planning on getting a stick? Because you really should.

BMS is very good once you get it running, and some of the modules for DCS do a pretty good job of simulating their planes. Flaming Cliffs is a good light Sim setup if you're just starting out.

Falcon 4.0 is the best flight sim of all time as far as I'm concerned.

Played that shit as a kid, still play it today. I'm convinced that if needed, I could fly an F-16.
