What is your favorite shootout scene in a movie?

HEAT's post bank job shoot-out obviously.
One of my favorites

>>27838689
Loved the shootout except for the WE WUZ KINGZ N SHIT ending
Made me want an ACOG with an RMR
>>27838702
I'm pretty sure this scene is the reason why an ar15 and p226 were my first two guns I bought
>>27838708
Good taste, my man, good taste.
>>27838611
Just because of how over the top it is

On an unrelated note, has anyone else noticed the banner ads going from normal weaboo trash to much, much worse normal fag clickbait trash? Do these people think there's money to be made here?

Nothing fucking comes close to Michael Mann. As real as you can make it. Heat and Public Enemies- jesus fucking christ...
"Is that my briefcase?" USP 45 Djbouti Shooty hardcore oper8an all day erry day
Just thinking about that scene gives me an erection and makes me want to buy yet another USP
>>27838702
Idk man I kind of liked the ending simply because I wasn't expecting it. Kind of like the ending in Layer Cake. Sometimes a protagonist's failure makes for a good story.

>in prone with bi-pod deployed
>needs to shoot somebody
>tacti-rolls into crouching before shooting
>other guy driving and shooting one handed through windshield
Probably the worst shootout scene from this movie.
>>27840717
The tacticool roll was dumb, but I can forgive the shooting while driving thing. De Niro didn't hit the guy until he was close enough to run him over

Can't unsee the second guy ridiculously fumbling to get his gun out of his pants though...
I mean, it's not entirely unrealistic but still.
>>27841690
Criminals carry their guns like shit. There is this one method where they take a wire hanger, make it into a sine wave looking thing, put the hook between their pants and their belt and have the barrel in the other end handing below their dick.
>>27840717
Wew lad
Wew
Calm your spregyness, nobody said it had to be realistic.

I always enjoy this.
>>27838689
Holy fuck was he operating operationally.
This whole movie is basically an excuse for a shootout. Though it's not so accurate with the firearms, John Carpenter is still god-tier.

>>27843517
that looked like a retarded version of the opening to Predator 2 and that's saying something
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wT8SkRESQ1s
>>27838689
I love that because he actually used the fucking de-cocker at the beginning instead of pulling the trigger and easing the hammer down with his thumb.

>>27843517
Holy shit that went badly. Clever of the Mexican at the beginning to disguise his belt fed LMG as an AK smg. I'm sure the unexpected volume of fire threw the cops off their game.
>>27838611
>Heat
Something about that movie that is so damn aesthetic, it never gets old to watch it over and over again.
Something about that 90's, pre-GWOT, LA-esque Americana mix of the old and new, existing somewhere between the the vibe of the 80's and the digital age of the 2000's.
Damn.

Came to post this. John Woo was just the go-to guy for action melodrama back then. Also this:

>>27846560
At the 1:00 mark he clearly has a malfunction or just straight up runs out of ammo. Stunt man still comes through the window and dies, but no bang.
>>27838708
First rifle was an AR, first handgun a P226 this was back in '07
>>27838702
>ACOG with an RMR
Kind of a poor choice since he was shooting at people at <50 meters. An aimpoint or eotech would have been better.
>>27846584
I need to replay fear. Damn that game was fun. Still holds up to modern action shooters too
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KmhGYB4NdYc
I really got a kick out of the shooting scene at the end of True Romance.
This.

why, FEAR, why?

You didn't follow movie did you? He steals that gun and its a docter optic, not an rmr

This one is pretty entertaining.
>>27840717
the truck was rapidly driving away, he rolled into the position that wouldve given him a wider range of movement, so he could lead his target
>>27841690
they're crackheads without any actual training
Not so much a shootout, but some good CQC action
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J1JXDvCmh9s
Can't find a better quality version right now
Just this movie as a whole was gun porn.
>>27838896
>nothing comes close to Mann
Proof of Life comes out of nowhere and manages to get real fuckin close
>>27851495
I really enjoyed the shootouts in this movie. They weren't super over the top for the most part, but they had a very steady, constant uneasiness and tension. The shots all had more gravity to them, because they all seemed like they could easily be the one to kill a main character.
>>27838689
That bit after the five-minute mark. What goes around, comes around.
Moral of the story? Relax like a Boxer when fighting indoors. Have to find that middle ground of awareness. Keeps things like that from happening.
>>27851499
Way of the gun
>>27846584
I can see what you mean.
Open Range had a good shootout scene.
